NBA Picks for Today

#FantasyValueChallenge

Unfortunately the #FantasyValueChallenge is over until our site launches. We will be replacing it with a recruitment competition. Have someone follow us, it could be anyone (preferably someone who plays or knows what fantasy sports is) and have them direct message us your twitter handle. The person who recruits the most twitter followers wins free months to our website debuting this summer. Simple as that. The winner gets 3 free months. However, anyone who gets 30+ followers will win 1 free monthly membership, and if our winner recruits more than 30 followers they will get an additional month free.

Picks
G1- Chris Paul LAC: The Kings as a whole give up a ton of points. Chris Paul 23 points and 7 assists in the last two weeks and there is no reason to think he can't at least replicate those stats.
G2- Steve Nash PHO: The selection of guards to choose from today is pretty thin, so we are going to stick with a high priced guy that has a solid match up today. Nash should be paired up with Rubio who is not a good defensive player by any means. Nash is averaging 12 points and 13 assists in last two weeks which is nice, but will need to post just over those numbers to get his value. We think that's highly possible.
G3- Francisco Garcia SAC: We like a lot of Sacramento players tomorrow and Garcia is one of them. He is playing very well as of late averaging 16 fantasy points in the last two weeks. For his price of just under 7k, we like him. He is one of the only cheap guards we like today.

F1- Black Griffin LAC: We like a lot of players in the LAC/SAC game because we think it'll be high scoring. When in doubt, there is no reason not to pick players in these high scoring affairs. Griffin is a beast down low that should easily capitalize off a bad Kings defense.
F2- Serge Ibaka OKC: Ibaka is an OSF favorite. What's not to love about a guy who can score a triple double with one of the stats being blocks? Regardless, he is averaging 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks in his last six games. At a price of over 12k, that is easily his value and we expect him to do the same against Orlando.
F3- Kevin Durant OKC: It's Kevin Durant. You're paying for a premier player when you pick him, and right now he is averaging 46 fantasy points in his last six games. He's a pure scorer that will get at least 35 fantasy points on a bad night. For 21k you're probably looking for guaranteed value, but we don't see why Durant wouldn't be able to get 42+ today.

C1- Deandre Jordan LAC: Playing versus the Kings should give the  Clippers big men a solid advantage. Cousins, while being a big time offensive threat, isn't the best of defensive players. Jordan should easily get a double double which would result in 25 points or so. He is also averaging 25.6 fantasy points per game in the last 15 days.
C2-Nikola Pekovic MIN:Pekovic is one of the hottest centers in the league right now. This is evident by his DS price going from high 6k a couple of weeks ago to just over 13k right now. Gortat vs Pekovic will be a good matchup, and we think both of them will get their points.
C3-Gortat/Cousins: Really we don't like a third center all that much. Yes, we could go with two obvious picks in Gortat and Cousins, but it's nothing you couldn't do by just looking at stats. Stick to 2 centers today with a thin pool to choose from.
