We will be keeping our picks and value for the selected players, as before.

Lineup:
G1- Kobe Bryant LAL- home vs. the Charlotte Bobcats, 10:30ET. The Bobcats are the 4th worst defense in the league and give up big point against guards.

G2- Mike Conley MEM- home vs. the Denver Nuggets, 8ET. Expect everyone for Memphis to bounce back after last nights disaster.

G3- Tyreke Evans SAC- away at the Golden State Warriors, 10:30ET. Golden State’s defense is dreadful. They give up points to everyone on the floor, so expect big points from everyone on Sacramento.

G4- Darren Collison IND- home vs. the New Jersey Nets, 7ET. The Nets have the worst defense in the NBA which make everyone on the Pacers a good pick for tonight. However they give up a majority of their points to guards. Expect 21+ fantasy points.

F1- Demarcus Cousins SAC- away at the Golden State Warriors, 10:30ET. Golden State’s defense is dreadful. They give up points to everyone on the floor, so expect big points from everyone on Sacramento especially big men. Expect 29+ fantasy points.

F2- Amare Stoudemire NY- home vs. the Detroit Pistons, 7:30ET. The Pistons have the second worst defense in the league and the Knicks score more points at home than on the road which makes all Knicks a good pick for tonight. However, they give up a majority of their points to forwards. Expect 29+ fantasy points.

F3- Josh Smith ATL- away at the Toronto Raptors, 7ET. The Raptors give up a lot of points to forwards especially with Bargnani out.

Tough night match-ups wise, there wasn't anyone we really loved for tonight.

Value Challenge Price Range
$15-20K+:
Dwight Howard ORL- Is at the Philadelphia 76ers, 7ET. Is at his lowest price we have seen so far this season. The 76ers are susceptible to giving up big points to big men, especially with Hawes still out. Expect Howard to score 40+ fantasy points.

Marc Gasol MEM- Is at home vs. the San Antonio Spurs, 8ET. Is averaging 2 more point at home than on the road and 3 more points in games the Grizzlies win which we expect them to. Expect Gasol to score 33+ fantasy points.

$10-15K:
Rudy Gay MEM- Is at home vs. the San Antonio Spurs, 8ET. Gay went 19 points and 10 rebounds last time these two teams met and Gay averages 4 more fantasy points a game when he is at home. Expect Gay to score 26+ fantasy points.

$5-10K:
Chris Duhon ORL- Is on the road at the Philadelphia 76ers, 7ET. Philadelphia has a good defense but with Duhon getting the start he should easily get a 2.0 value. Expect Duhon to score 9-14 fantasy points.

NBA Recap and Picks for the Day

Correct                             Fantasy Points       Fantasy Value
Jodie Meeks PHI-                   17.5                           2.4
Samuel Dalembert HOU-        28.5                         2.2
Kemba Walker CHA-               45                            4.5
John Wall WAS-                        32.25                       2.1

Incorrect
Greg Monroe DET-                     22                           1.8

Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 76% (37/49)
Our picks cumulative fantasy value: 2.37

Value Challenge Price Range

$15-20K+:
Deron Williams NJ- Is at home vs the Toronto Raptors, 6ET. The Raptors are a struggling team without one of their best players (Bargnani). This could mean a lot of matchups problem for the Raptors and a lot of assists and driving lay ups with no real big man to stop him. Keep playing Deron while he is hot. Expect Williams to score 30-35 points.

$10-15K:
Kris Humphries NJ- Is at home vs the Toronto Raptors, ET. With the Raptors missing their big man Humphries should have a great day rebounding and easily scoring 15 points. As a home team with a day off yesterday we really like this matchup. Expect Humphries to score 28-33 fantasy points.

Jose Calderon TOR- Is on the road vs the New Jersey Nets, 6ET. Usually we like Calderon a lot more with Bargnani healthy, but this time we like him because of the team he is playing. The New Jersey Nets are terrible on defense and give up a bunch of points. Calderon also had yesterday off, so he should be fresh and ready for a good game. Expect Calderon to score 22-26 fantasy points.

$5-10K:
Joel Anthony MIA- Is at home vs the Chicago Bulls, 3:30ET. Anthony is the starting center for the Heat and should see plenty of minutes to get his value. In a big game like this one, expect a lot of attention to be focused on the big 3. With this will bring more rebounding opportunities because of the ability of Wade and Lebron to drive to the lane drawing Anthony’s defender. Anthony is super cheap and should see 11-16 fantasy points.

Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 77% (33/43)

*****************************
Value Challenge Price Range

$15-20K+:
Kyle Lowry HOU- Is at home vs. the New York Knicks, 8ET. The Knicks have seemingly quit, losing 8 of their last 9, and Lowry should light up the stat sheet, get ready to see a lot of green. Also, Lowry averages 4 more fantasy points/game in games the Rockets win and we expect them to do exactly that. Expect Lowry to score 34-39 fantasy points.

Greg Monroe DET- Is at the Philadelphia 76ers, 7ET. On the surface the 76ers have a solid defense, but so do the Hawks and Monroe put up 40 fantasy points last night. Monroe is HOT and we are going to ride that train against the 76ers who average giving up 14 points/game vs. opposing centers. Expect Monroe to score 29-34 fantasy points.

John Wall WAS- Is at the Charlotte Bobcats, 7ET. The Bobcats have the 4th worst defense in the NBA and Wall can fill a stat sheet which is always good for fantasy sports. Expect Wall to score 31-36 fantasy points.

$10-15K:
Samuel Dalembert HOU- Is at home vs. the New York Knicks, 8ET. The Knicks have seemingly quit, losing 8 of their last 9, and Dalembert is HOT and seemingly unstoppable. Expect Dalembert to score 25-31 fantasy points.

$5-10K:
Kemba Walker CHA- Is at home vs. the Washington Wizards, 7ET. Washington has the 6th worst defense in the league and Walker's minutes, points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks are all up over the last 10 games and becoming a One Site Fantasy Favorite. Expect Walker to score 20-25 fantasy points.

Jodie Meeks PHI- Is at home vs. the Detroit Pistons, 7ET. Sick of Meeks yet? Get used to it. Just a heads up he will probably be on every team we have all year. Meeks has a 2.73 value when he is a One Site Fantasy pick and he is going against the second worst defense in the NBA. Expect Meeks to score 14-19 fantasy points.

The Idea for the One Site Fantasy Website

We would like to thank everyone for the interest you have shown in our blog that just started up within the last two weeks. We really didn't know what to expect and were hoping for half the interest we have gained from you guys and gals. At this point we wanted to introduce to you the idea of our website and see what kind of ideas and suggestions you would have for us to make our site the best it can be.

One Site Fantasy is going to be a member based site that gives the fantasy fan a look at nonstop fantasy coverage of every sport. NBA, MLB, NHL, and NFL will be covered with easy access to everything you need to know when it comes to setting your lineup. This is the time when we ask for your help. What kind of information are you specifically looking for when setting your roster/lineup for the day/week?

Our main focus as of right now is getting our site created, and getting our name out. We are not currently running One Site Fantasy full time as we have other current obligations. However, when our site is ready we will be full time fantasy sports and we will be offering more in depth analysis of our picks, more in depth injury news, and more promo codes, free rolls, and other free to enter competitions such as: streak-for-cash on ESPN. We have numbers in mind, but how much would YOU be willing to spend on this information: Daily? Weekly? Monthly? and full season? There's is no wrong answer.

We know what we like to see to put our teams together, but we are looking for what YOU want to see. Email us at OneSiteFantasy@gmail.com or tweet/DM us on twitter @OneSiteFantasy.

NBA Picks For the Day

Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 77% (30/39)

Our picks cumulative fantasy value: 2.34

*****************************
Value Challenge Price Range:

$15-20K+:
Greg Monroe DET- Is at home vs. the Atlanta Hawks, 7:30ET. The Hawks appear to be a solid overall defensive team on the surface however, pull back the layers and you'll find that they are giving up 92 points on the road, 101 to the Nets in one game and on average giving up 15 points to centers/game since Horford has been out. Expect Monroe to score 30-35 fantasy points.

$10-15K:
Anderson Varejao CLE- Is at home vs. the New Jersey Nets, 7:30ET. The Nets are the worst defensive team in the league and in the bottom third in rebounding. He has a high FG% and can put up 15 points and 15 rebounds any night. Varejao is also fantastic on defense. Expect Varejao to score 24-29 fantasy points.

$5-10K:
Jodie Meeks PHI- Is at home vs. the Charlotte Bobcats, 7ET. Sick of us picking Meeks yet? Well get used to it. He is the cheapest starting player in the NBA who gets his value night in and night out. Meeks has a 2.65 value on nights One Sight Fantasy picks him. Charlotte has the 4th worst defense in the league and Meeks' production in games the 76ers win is double than when they lose, and we expect the 76ers the 2nd best Hollinger ranking team to beat the Bobcats who is the worst team on Hollinger's index. Which makes anyone on the 76ers a good pick for tonight. Expect Meeks to score 12-17+ fantasy points.

Ronnie Brewer CHI- Is at home vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, 8ET. Brewer is second on the depth chart behind Deng so he doesn't see many minutes behind an all-star forward, however, Deng is out and Brewer scored 18 fantasy points the first game Deng was out and 40+ last game which is why he is One Site Fantasy's Value Challenge pick for tonight. Expect Brewer to do more of the same and score 14-19+ fantasy points.

$10-15K:
Thadeous Young PHI- Is at home vs. the New Jersey Nets, 7ET. The Nets have the worst defense in the NBA which makes everyone on the 76ers a good pick. Young plays better at home and the 76ers are coming off an off day. Expect Young to score 18-23 fantasy points.

Samuel Dalembert HOU- Its at home vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, 8ET. Dalembert is hot, and it seems like nothing can stop him. We have drank the cool-aid and plan to ride this train until the end of the season. Expect Dalembert to score 23-28 fantasy points tonight.

$5-10K:
Kemba Walker CHA- Is on the road at the Washington Wizards, 7ET. Walker is hotter than a $2 pistol getting more mins, points, rebounds, assists, and steals every game he plays going against the 6th worst defense in the NBA tonight. Expect Walker to score 19-24 fantasy points.

Jodie Meeks PHI- Is at home vs. the New Jersey Nets, 7ET. The Nets have the worst defense in the NBA which makes all 76ers solid plays for tonight. Meeks continues to be the best kept secret in fantasy basketball and is a One Site Fantasy Favorite every night. On night One Site Fantasy has picked Meeks he has a value of 2.6. Expect Meeks to score 13-18+ fantasy points.

Value Challenge

$15-20K+:
LeBron James MIA- Is at home vs. his old team the Cleveland Cavaliers, 9ET. I do not hate LeBron I do not love LeBron, however the #1 offense in the league vs. the #22 defense at home vs. an old team, expect LeBron to take over. James averages 24pts, 5ast, 8reb, 1stl, and 1blk in 4 games vs. his old club. Expect James to score 45-50 fantasy points.

$10-15K:
Marcin Gortat PHO- Is at home vs. the Toronto Raptors, 9ET. Back-to-back nights for Gortat to make the One Site Fantasy picks list. Gortat is hot, at home, vs. Toronto who isn't great at rebounding especially without big made Andrea Bargnani who is injured. Expect Gortat to score 28-33 fantasy points.

Steve Nash PHO- Is at home vs. the Toronto Raptors, 9ET. Nash is getting old, but is still one of the most dominant PGs in the league, especially at home where he averages 2 more points and assists/game which is an added 5 fantasy points. Expect Nash to score 28-33 fantasy points.

$5-10K:
Kemba Walker CHA- Is at home vs. the New York Knicks, 7:30ET. Walker averages 25mins/game this season but has averaged 35mins/game over his last 5 games which has increased all of his numbers especially against a poor defending road team in the Knicks. Expect Walker to score 18-23 fantasy points.

Marshon Brooks NJ-               27                          2.5
Kevin Garnett BOS-                 24                           2

Incorrect
Blake Griffin LAC-                   28                         1.6
Byron Mullens CHA-                6                           0.7

Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 73% (22/30)

Our picks cumulative fantasy value: 2.4

*****************************
Value Challenge Price Range: Draft Street Price (Fan Duel Price for Informative Purposes Only)

$15-20K+: 7K+
Lamarcus Aldridge POR- Is at home vs. the Sacramento Kings, 10ET. We are big fans of riding hot streaks with NBA players, especially when a hot streak is riding at home vs. the 3rd worst defense and T-4th worst rebounding team in the league. Expect Aldridge to score 36-41 fantasy points.

Kevin Durant OKC- Is at home vs. the Detroit Piston, 8ET. The Pistons have the second worst defense, and are the worst in forcing turnover is the league. Expect Durant to score 37-42 fantasy points.

$10-15K: 5,300- 7K
Andrew Bogut MIL- Is at home vs. the Atlanta Hawks, 8ET. Bogut causes a HUGE matchup problem vs. the Hawks. Horford is injured (shoulder), Shumpert gets in foul trouble/is 4 inches shorter, and Pachulia is simply not on the same level as Bogut. He will be the tallest player on the court and should impose his will. Expect Bogut to score 28-33 fantasy points.

Marcin Gortat PHO- Is on the road at. the Dallas Mavericks, 8:30ET. Gortat has been hot lately, averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds over his season averages over the last 5 games, 4 of which were on the road, 3 of which were top 11 defenses. Also, Nowitki is out creating a 48 minute matchup mismatch. Expect Gortat to score 28-33 fantasy points.

JaVale McGee WAS- Is on the road at. the Philadelphia 76ers, 7ET. Rarely will we take a player on the road vs. a defense in the top half of the NBA but with Hawes and Vucevic injured, with Brand listed as questionable, that's 3 76ers starters that are sidelined which should lead to big points and rebounds for Mcgee. Expect Mcgee to score 26-31 fantasy points.

$5-10K: 3- 5,300K
Jason Terry DAL- Is at home vs. the Phoenix Suns, 8:30ET. We LOVE the combination of Dirk Nowitzki being out, with Phoenix's up tempo offense which should both help Terry get more minutes and points. Expect Terry to score 18-23 fantasy points.

Jodie Meeks PHI- Is at home vs. the Washington Wizards, 7ET. The Wizards have the 6th worst defense in the NBA and Meeks is a One Site Fantasy Favorite. Expect Meeks to score 12-17 fantasy points.

Zero incorrect picks last night

One Site Fantasy:

Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 77% (20/26)

Our picks cumulative fantasy value: 2.5

*****************************
Value Challenge Price Range: Draft Street Price (Fan Duel Price for Informative Purposes Only)

$15-20K+: 7K+
Blake Griffin, LAC- Is at home vs. the Toronto Raptors, 3:30ET. Not only is he a matchup nightmare every night, he should tear through whoever Toronto uses to attempt to guard him. Griffin has also struggled with turning the ball over as of late and with Toronto being 3rd worst in the NBA in forcing turnovers (27/30) that should help Griffin from losing points. Expect Griffin to score 35-40 fantasy points.

$10-15k: 5,300-7K
Marshon Brooks, NJ- Is at home vs. the Charlotte Bobcats, 6ET. Charlotte is has the 3rd worst defensive efficiency (27/30), and they are the 5th worst rebounding team in the NBA (25/30). Also Brooks records more, assists, rebounds, and points in games the 4 games New Jersey has won this year as opposed to the 12 games they have lost. I expect the them to win and expect Brooks to score 21-26 fantasy points.

Kevin Garnett- Is on the road at the Washington Wizards, 1ET. Washington is the WORST overall rebounding team in the NBA and tied for second worst in defensive rebounds, which means more offensive rebounds for Garnett. Offensive rebounds lead to points on put backs and assists on kick outs. Washington is also the 5th worst defensive efficiency team in the NBA this year. Expect Garnett to score 23-28 fantasy points.

$5-10k: 3-5,300K
Byron Mullens- Is on the road at the New Jersey Nets, 6ET. New Jersey has the WORST defensive efficiency in the NBA this year and Mullens seems to get better every game. He will also be the tallest player on the court and should have an easy time guarding his matchup allowing him to stay out of foul trouble and on the court longer. Expect Mullens to score 17-22 fantasy points. Mullens is our Fantasy Value Challenge Pick of the Day.

Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 73% (16/22)

Our picks cumulative fantasy value: 2.2

Value Challenge Price Range: Draft Street Price (Fan Duel Price for Informative Purposes Only in Parentheses)

$15-20K+: 17,101: 7,700

Marc Gasol- Is at home vs. the Sacramento Kings, 8ET. Not rocket science, same reasons Gay and Blair are/were attractive. There is no true center on the Kings which should cause matchup problems which will help both Gay and Gasol. Expect Gasol to score 34-39 fantasy points.

$10-15K: 13,098-13,908: 7,400-7400

Rudy Gay- Is at home vs. the Sacramento Kings, 8ET. The Kings are 28th in defense efficiency, 28th in rebounding, and 24th in rebounds, and 30th in FG% against. For the same reasons DeJuan Blair was a pick last night Gay is tonight. Expect Gay to score 26-31 fantasy points. Gay is our Fantasy Value Challenge Pick of the Day.

Joe Johnson- Is at home vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers, 7:30ET. Johnson is a solid pick every night, especially tonight causing matchup problems for the Cavaliers. Expect Johnson to score 26-31 fantasy points tonight.

$5-10K: 5,510: 4,800

C.J. Watson- Is at home vs. the Charlotte Bobcats, 8ET. As long as Derrick Rose is out C.J. Watson is the hottest pick in fantasy basketball scoring 26+ FPPG the last 3 games and with Rose's turf toe expect the Bulls to rest him for as long as possible.

NHL Recap for 1-19-12 and Picks for Today

Let's just call this "Please tell me you picked Teddy Purcell Night." Here's a look at the numbers:

Marc-Andre Fleury     4.5
Chris Kunitz               2.1
Teddy Purcell             8.9
Jonathan Toews          5.6

Was rushed by the last minute decision to start Fleury, so I made a quick swap. Fleury at least got the win and didn't cost us an arm and a leg. Purcell was obviously the pick of the night by easily scoring more than his cost.

Picks for Today

Dwayne Roloson: Lightning- Roloson is at Phoenix, but we are going to bank on the Lightning offense taking advantage of the weak goaltending that's going on in Arizona right now. Roloson has a great offense behind him, so there's no reason to believe he'll get at least 3 goals of cushion and for a price of just under $9,000 that should be enough.

Teddy Purcell: Lightning- Purcell is extremely hot right now playing alongside a great player in Stamkos. Why not take him especially at an very low price. Ride the hot streak against the Coyotes.

Matt Moulson: Islanders- The Islanders have an amazing top line with Moulson, Tavares, and Okposo. They face Carolina today, a team that will be playing its second game in a row. The Islanders will be at home and a great pick for offensive players tomorrow Moulson included.

Johan Franzen: Red Wings- The Mule is playing great right now and so is Pavel Datsyuk. Franzen is the cheaper option of the two and just as likely to score as Datsyuk. Facing the Blue Jackets at home will be a high scoring offensive affair where they haven't lost in 14 or 15 straight. Go with Franzen and be confident he'll get you between 4-6 fantasy points.

NHL Recap for 1-19-12 and Today's Picks

Recap of 1-19-12

How did we do yesterday? Well to be short and sweet.. Great goalies and average on our line play. Let's look at the numbers.

Steve Mason           3.6 points
Jimmy Howard        9.3 points
John Tavares           6.3 points
Jakub Voracek         0.4 points
Marian Gaborik        4.1 points
Derek Stepan           1.0 points

Overall not too upset at the picks. We keep being dead on for goalies and we also loved the top 2 lines yesterday for the Islanders. These top two lines put up an amazing 7 points among them (7 of 10 points for NYI). If you picked the first line for the Islanders you were rewarded with 1 goal and 3 assists. Not a bad night.

Today's Picks:

Today we find some great value at the RW position and Center position. We also really like a cheap goalie to get a win...

Goalie Pick of the Day:
Brent Johnson: Penguins- At the moment he is likely to be in goal tonight. IF he is in net (we will tweet an update when we hear for sure), we love his price of just over $8,500 on Draftstreet. Johnson should be in a great position to give up 2 goals or less and get the win. The Penguins offense is on fire right now and today is a great day to take advantage of it against the Canadiens who will be on the road.

Forwards and Centers of the Day:
Teddy Purcell: Lightning- Everyone knows Steven Stamkos for the Lightning is the player to have on this team, but why not take adavantage of Stamkos' skills? Take Purcell, his line-mate, for only $6,500 on Draftstreet. Purcell being on the top power play unit seals the deal for us. He is on the road against Lehtonen and the Stars, but we like the Lightning for at least 2 goals and we like Stamkos and Purcell to score a point each.

Chris Kunitz: Penguins- As in the case of Purcell, Kunitz plays with arguably the best center in the game right now. Malkin, a player we splurged on for our DS team tonight, is a great player and also a line-mate of his not to mention they are both on the first team power play. Kunitz has 5 points in his last 8 games, but we like him to score at least one point tonight.

Jonathan Toews: Blackhawks- We are going to keep this one simple.. He's Toews, against Jose Theodore who gave up 3 goals the other night, and he scored two goals in his last game. Consider the $13,800 you have to spend to get him a bargain.

The NBA Strategy

We were asked yesterday what we make our predictions off of. We try to capitalize on injuries, off days, and home games. If you notice 95% of our picks are at home because 95% of they play better 100% of the time at home rather than on the road... We believe it key for a player to have the "home court advantage." Anyone who has traveled to play sports knows how difficult is to role off a plane, a bus, or both and perform at a high level. We use the Hollinger index, and NBA Stats Cube which can both be found on NBA.com. Fantasy prices are based off fantasy points season averages, so we use these two sites to predict if a player will record stats above their season averages to make an above 2.0 value. At One Site Fantasy we strive to make our pics a 2.3+ value average.

NBA Recap for 1-19-12 and Picks of the Day

*We define correct by any player we suggest who scores in or above our projected fantasy points range, and who also score 2x their value. Value= FPPG/price of player for that day. EX: Lowry scored 31 fantasy points and cost $17,586. That equals a fantasy value of 1.8. You should try to only pick players who will get a value of 2.0+ and when we make our picks we try to pick people who we believe will score a 2.3+ value.

Correct:               Fantasy Points          Fantasy Value
Dalembert-                  37                             3.3
Belineli-                      19                             2.9
Jefferson-                   32                             2.1

Incorrect:
Lowry-                        31                             1.8

One Site Fantasy:
Percentage of picks that made our projected fantasy points: 72% (13/18)
Our picks cumulative fantasy value: 2.2

**********************

Paul Pierce- is at home vs. the Phoenix Suns, 7:30ET. He creates a lot of matchup problems for the Suns with Markieff Morris being a rookie, Channing Frye is too slow, and Grant Hill is the second oldest player in the NBA by a day. The Suns are 24th in league in defense efficiency, 30th in rebounds per game. Expect Pierce to score 22-27 fantasy points tonight.

Dejuan Blair- is at home vs. the Sacramento Kings, 8:30ET. Blair causes matchup problems with no centers on teh Kings roster, forcing a forward to guard him. The Kings are 28th in defensive efficiency, 24th in rebounds per game, and 30th in FG% against. Expect Blair to score 20-25 fantasy points tonight.

Carmelo Anthony- is at home tonight vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, 7:30ET. Anthony is coming off one of the worst shooting nights an NBA player can possibly have with 25 MFG/MFT. Milwaukee is also 28th in the league in rebounds per game, and 22nd in FG% against. Expect Anthony to score 32-37 fantasy points tonight.

C.J. Watson- Is on the road tonight vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers, 7:30ET. Watson has scored 17+ in the two games Rose has been out and scored 21+ fantasy points in both. With a $5,500 price tag he is a must have on your fantasy team tonight. Expect Watson to score 12-17 fantasy points.
