C: Wilin Rosario – Went 2 for 4 last night with a homerun, and he is batting over .300 over the last two weeks.
1b: Ike Davis – The young Mets’ first baseman has 4 homeruns and 13 runs scored in the last two weeks and went 3 for 5 the other day with a homerun and 4 RBIs.

2b: Aaron Hill – Last night he hit his second cycle of the season, and he is batting .360 with 4 homeruns over the last two weeks.
3b: Wilson Betemit – The Orioles infielder is on fire as he has had 5 straight multi-hit games.

SS: Asdrubal Cabrera – Not only can Cabrera make sick defensive plays, but he has been hitting well this season as he has had back-to-back games with 2 hits and a homerun in each game.
OF: J.D. Martinez – Now with 10 homeruns and 45 RBIs on the season, Martinez has hit 3 homeruns over the last week.

OF: David Murphy – 6 for his last 9, Murphy is now batting .289 on the season with 9 homeruns.
OF: Nick Swisher – The switch hitting outfielder is batting .342 over the last two weeks including a 2 for 3 performance last night with two runs scored.

U: Kevin Youkilis – The former Red Sox great is struggling this year, but he is such a cheap play at only 5.6K, and he has a lot of upside.
U: Ryan Zimmerman – During a 6 game hitting streak, Zimmerman 11 for 28 with two homeruns.

SP: Rick Porcello – In his last two starts, Porcello has thrown 13 innings and only given up 3 earned runs, and the Rays offense ranks in the bottom half of the league in every offensive category.
SP: Garrett Richards – in his last 27.2 innings, he has only given up 5 earned runs, and he is valued under 10K.

SP: J.A. Happ – Coming off back-to-back wins, Happ has only given up a total of 3 earned runs in his last two starts and faces an awful Cubs offense today.
RP: Brett Myers – Now with 17 saves on the year, Myers has done a decent job in the closer’s role for Astros this year, and he is valued under 2K.

Sunday's MLB Picks

Favorite Picks:

Brandon Belt SF- Belt is swinging a hot stick and is at a cheap price of less than 7 K. As we saw two days ago when he was on our team, he can rack up the points while only getting one hit. He hit a home run yesterday, and has a hit in each of his last 11 games.

Alex Gordon KC- Gordon is amazingly less than 6K. He is hitting .292 in the last week with 3 extra base hits, and has been hitting leadoff for the Royals. His strikeout to walk ratio over the last 10 games is 4 K's to 7 walks. Gordon should be a great pick today going against Lynn.

Hector Noesi SEA- Noesi is facing the Padres in San Diego tonight which is always a favorable matchup for the opposing pitcher. He faced them two starts ago going 7 innings and giving up 5 hits and 1 earned run in route to the 1-0 loss. We didn't pick him because we like the Mariners to win, but because we think for his less than 7K price he will put up solid points.

FINAL SCORE: 55.6 points.

C: Brian McCann – The power hitting catcher for Atlanta is having a down year, but today we are playing him because we have a hunch he is due.  It’s a low risk high reward since he is less than 7K and facing a righty.

1b: Casey McGehee – During his current 6 game hitting streak, McGehee is 10 for 23 with two homeruns.
2b: Aaron Hill – Fresh off his 4 for 4 performance with the cycle yesterday, Hill is batting over .400 in the last two weeks and he is valued only at 6K.

3b: Brandon Inge – Looks like the Tigers made a mistake in letting go of Inge.  He is batting .292 with 2 homeruns and 13 RBIs over the last two weeks.  He is also under 6K.
SS: Andrelton Simmons – The recent rookie call-up for the Braves has been unbelievable at the plate.  He is 10 for his last 19, and he is batting .333 on the year.

OF: Jason Kubel – Kubel is batting .295 on the season with 40 RBIs, and he hits righties extremely well, and today he faces Erasmo Ramirez.
OF: Colby Rasmus – 6 for his last 10 with a homerun, Rasmus faces Tyler Thornburg who makes his first career major league start today.

OF: Ryan Braun – Braun is batting .333 with 5 homeruns and 12 RBIs in the last two weeks.
U: Mark Trumbo – Now with 16 homeruns and 42 RBIs this year, Trumbo is batting .319 and having a breakout year.

U: Albert Pujols – Pujols is batting over .300 in the last two weeks and faces a lefty today in a struggling Barry Zito.
SP: Chien-Ming Wang – In his last start, Wang went 5 innings and gave up only 2 runs to record his 2nd win of the year.  Today, he faces the Rays and their offense is in the bottom half of every offensive category.

SP: Scott Diamond – Diamond faces one of the worst offenses in baseball (Pirates), and he is 5-2 on the year with a 2.13 ERA.
SP: Mark Buehrle – We understand Buehrle is facing a tough offense today in the Red Sox, but Buehrle is coming off of back-to-back quality starts, and his season ERA is only 3.41.  Furthermore, he is under 9K.

RP: Heath Bell – Now with 14 saves on the season, Bell has settled in nicely in Miami, and he has not given up a run in his last 9 appearances.
