NBA Picks 1-17-12

Tonights Picks:

Dwight Howard- coming off yesterdays 8 point performance look for Howard to bounce back strong tonight at home vs. the Charlotte Bobcats after a long 4 game road trip. In the first meeting this season vs Charlotte, Howard had 20 points, 24 rebounds, 4 blocks, 1 steal, and 4 assists totaling 55 fantasy points, look for another strong performance tonight. Expect 45-50 fantasy points tonight.

Caron Butler- after Chris Paul's injury, look for Butler to have a bigger role in scoring and passing. They are on the road tonight vs. the Utah Jazz and expect Butler to record 26-30 fantasy points.

Chauncey Billups- for same reasons as Caron Butler is appealing, so is Billups. He will play a larger role in the scoring and passing for the Clippers while Paul is out. Billups will probably move to the 1 guard tonight which will boost his assist and point numbers because he will have the ball more. Expect 25-30 fantasy points tonight.

Loul Deng-  coming off a bad loss to Memphis and with Derrick Rose injured, Deng should play a more prominent role in scoring tonight for the Bulls especially with Phoenix's below average defense and up tempo offense which creates more possessions for the Bulls and more opportunities for Deng to score. Expect 29-34 fantasy points tonight.

Carlos Boozer- for the same reasons Deng is appealing, so is Boozer. He will have a larger role in scoring and with the combination of Phoenix's up temp offense and below average defense he should get more points, and more rebounds than his season averages. Expect 27-32 fantasy points tonight.

Best Cheapest Players Tonight:
