NBA Picks Sunday

G1- Klay Thompson GS- Thompson has emerged as a legit player with all the injuries Golden State has had this season. Thompson averages 15 points and 2 rebounds this season vs. the Timberwolves with 24 minutes of action. Now he is starting and getting almost 40 minutes a night. He has also scored 20 points 4/5 nights.

G2- Kemba Walker CHA- Walker has not been shooting the ball very well as of late, however we expect him to shake out of it tonight vs. a poor defense. He is averaging 31 minutes, 12 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds over his last 5 games, and with D.J. Augustin listed as questionable Walker could go off. He averaged 17 points and 7 assists when Augustin was out earlier in the season.

G3- Chris Paul LAC- Look for Paul to put on a show in New Orleans in his return. Paul is a very consistent player which is why we rarely pick him in fantasy basketball, but tonight may be special. If you have the cap space or you are in a snake, we say Paul is your number 1 pick.

F1- Glen Davis ORL- If you don't have Glen Davis you better get him. We didn't have him last night and it cost us. Call it chasing the points or whatever you want but unless they get blown out early, Davis will get you a 2.0 value. Who wouldn't want a guaranteed 28+ points? He is averaging 18 and 9 in the month of April, season average is 9 and 5. He is going up against DEN a team that gives up a lot of points and a lot of rebounds.

F2- Josh Smith ATL- J-Smooth is having a phenomenal year with Horford out. Smith averages 2 more points and 2 more rebounds in games the Hawks win, which we expect they will. Smith also has defense, which always peeks my interest. You cannot predict defense, but it is nice to see Smith averages 3 steals and block vs. NY

F3- Derrick Williams MIN- Williams is a stretch we know that. However, Golden State has a terrible defense and we think MIN should win by double digits even without Love and Rubio. Williams has proven if he gets starter minutes he can put up a double-double. Definitely a risky pick, but no risk no reward.

C1- DeMarcus Cousins SAC- This guy is a freight train. Cousins puts up 17 shots/game, and averages a double-double. Also, we don't think Bismack Biyombo or Derrick Brown can keep him off the glass or out of the paint. Furthermore, CHA gives up huge fantasy nights to opposing big men. 20/20 with Howard, 25/11 with Monroe.

C2- Greg Monroe DET- Monroe averages 21 points/game vs. Toronto and he is coming off an off day, which is becoming more and more important as we get closer to the end of the season. Monroe is coming off a 6 point 5 rebound night in MIN, expect him to bounce back strong.
